MEANING OF DRUG ABUSE
         Drug abuse refers to the irregular intake of substance which are harmful / hazardous or dangerous our health. These substances vary from prescribed medication, alcohol, cigarette, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, etc. These drugs van be swallowed, sniffed, inhaled, injected, absorbed through the skin, mouth or dropped into the eyes just as the case may be.

     POSSIBLE REASONS  FOR DRUG ABUSE
    Many times, the company of friends that a person keeps; may be responsible for this habit. Most teenagers pick up this habit under pressure, emotional reasons; such as , not being loved, depression, low self esteem, escape from stress, feeling neglected, poor parental care.
 
  CONSEQUENCES OF DRUG ABUSE
     Amy drug once taken into the body wull altar the  metabolism of the body system. The brain loses it's control and produces gaiety, changes in mood, etc.  There is malnutrition, memory loss, poor decision making noticed on a person who is am addict of drug.
    Also, there is change in behaviour; they tend to be more aggressive proud and disrespectful; crimes like armed robbery, rapping, kidnapping, hoodlums etc are inevitable.

    POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS OF DRUG ABUSE
     There is a saying that " prevention is better than cure". Therefore, preventing drug abuse is better than engaging in the act. Attention and love from the side if the family member would prevent a person from indulging in this kind of act. Educating please people about drug abuse and it's effect will also gona long wat in curing and preventing drug abuse in our present day society.
   People should always beware of the companies they keep sometimes saying NO to some certain options is difficult so as not to disappoint where the opinion is coming from!

Most people say they don't like arguing but the fact remains that in order to properly buttress your point , sometimes you need to stress on what your view is, But this becomes difficult when there is an opposition or a third party that wants you to listen to their own point of view contrary to yours.
