The Addiction PART 1

"Hello pianist, please wait" she said with a loud tiny voice while hastening her steps to meet me when I was trying to bargain price with the motorcyclist I stopped.

I had to plead with him to go because I was thinking; possibly she may have been sent to call me; who don't usually waste time to take my leave after the service. Moreso, I was just a visiting pianist and a friend to one of the sound guys.

"I like you". She said and fixed her gaze on me trying to see what my response would be.

'I like you to, more than you like me: infact I love you'. She wouldn't have noticed I was joking, If not for the little laughter I added while responding to what she said.

...Two weeks later when I went visiting again, she pointed at me and said '' you're a scammer. You never called so I could have your contact, that was why chose to have my contact instead isn't it?."

'Am so sorry' I said said. I then typed my number for her and left.

'We're not mates, what then is this all about' I asked myself rhetorically.

•Most people are imbibed with the concept of fear and that has resulted to the notable characteristics of impatience in them.
