Okra is not just a food. See some awesome facts about it.

Okra is high fiber vegetable and it's known for it high soluble and insoluble fiber content. This vegetable is usually used in many recipes and is also a part of many nutritional diets as it is highly beneficial.

Okra pods are loaded with significant amounts of vital nutrients – protein, fiber, calcium, iron, and zinc.

Some benefits of okra

1. Prevents Diabetes. Okra is known to aid in the prevention of diabetes. It is rich in fiber that helps in the prevention of this disease.

2. Keeps You From Getting Tired. It is unfortunate how common the word “fatigue” has become in today’s world. What used to be mostly age and sickness-related, is now an everyday struggle for young, healthy individuals. Okra seeds can delay fatiguing. They contain antioxidant polyphenols and flavonoids that promote glycogen storage in the liver. Glycogen is a body fuel reserve, and more of it means you will take longer to tire. This is why okra is also good for individuals suffering from depression. You will be able to fight the feeling of being inexplicably tired.

3.Okra promotes cholesterol degradation and inhibits the production of fat in the body. It, thus, decreases total cholesterol and triglyceride and enhances excretion of bile acids (made from cholesterol) in the feces. By regulating cholesterol levels in the blood, okra can prevent clogging of arteries – protecting us from heart diseases like atherosclerosis. 4. The most abundant vitamin in okra is vitamin K. This vitamin helps strengthen bones and promotes clotting of blood. Okra, thus, helps prevent osteoporosis, fractures, and excessive bleeding (due to injury or bleeding disorders)

5. Prevents Liver Disease Your liver is your body’s prime detox organ. Okra can help ensure it is protected from disease. Oral pre-administration of okra extracts reduced the effects of damaging free radicals that cause liver disease. Okra may have done so by stabilizing liver cell membranes, making them more defensive against intruding free radicals.

6. Kills Breast Cancer Cells In one study, a lectin isolated from okra was capable of instigating cell suicide in breast cancer cells. The growth of breast tumor cells was inhibited by a significant 63%. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime.

okra now, it's not just a food you cook because you can afford it easily, it's a medicine in form of food. enjoy...

Arguments.

Most people say they don't like arguing but the fact remains that in order to properly buttress your point , sometimes you need to stress on what your view is, But this becomes difficult when there is an opposition or a third party that wants you to listen to their own point of view contrary to yours. Everybody argues for a particular reason, and everybody have their reasons based on their thinking and conclusion. Voices are raised up when people find it difficult to conclude on an issue after some moments of argument. As voices are raised up, feelings and emotions begins to set in, anger begins to sprau up gradually. In no short time insults begins to be amidst the arguments and of course it is always a reciprocal scenario. As the pressure increases, if self control is lacking, everyone goes home with a squeezed face and sometimes a hurt body or with animosity. Argument is not  mandatory but in a case where it is necessary, letting our your view is the best option. You don...

How to read.

There is a very important fact about eye movement that you need to know. If you record the eye movements of someone who is reading, you will notice that, from time to time, the reader goes back and looks again at something he has read before; in other words, he regresses to an earlier part of the text, probably because he realises he does not understand the passage properly. Then he comes back to where he left off and continues reading. At one time, it was thought that regression was a fault, but it is in fact a very necessary activity in efficient reading. There are several different kinds of faults in reading, which are usually exaggerated with foreign learners.  The most common one is that most people read slowly than they should. There is no rate at which people ought to read, of course: it depends on your purpose in reading; how difficult the language is, how unfamiliar the material is and so on.  But most people read everything at the same slow speed, and do not s...
